Killeen Police Arrest Three Suspects Who Used Craigslist for Robbery

(KCEN) -- Three teenagers who committed a robbery using Craigslist on January 25 have been arrested by Killeen police.

Just before 2 p.m. on January 25, officers received a call from a person who had just been robbed by three black males in a white Ford Crown Victoria.

The victim was meeting a person in the area of Minthorn and Weiss for an ad on Craigslist to purchase a set of rims.

When he arrived, the victim was asked to sit in the Crown Victoria. He was then robbed of his money at gunpoint and forced out of the vehicle.

The suspects fled in the car but the victim followed them and called police.

Killeen Independent School District Officers also heard the call and responded. They located the suspects' vehicle, but the suspects abandoned the car and fled on foot.

KISD and Killeen police officers searched the area. It was reported the suspects had hopped several fences and were hiding.

One of the officers noticed a small black 4 door vehicle at Chimney Rock and Briarcroft Lane that was occupied by one black female.

The vehicle was then seen backing out of a driveway with the a female driver and three black males matching the description of the suspects.

Officers stopped the vehicle and detained all four occupants.

The suspects were taken to the Killeen City Jail and were charged with aggravated robbery with a firearm.

They have now been identified as 19-year-old Antonio Marquise Belford, 19-year-old Tre'quan Shavae Locke and 17-year-old Travon Andra Foster-Jones. Their bond has been set at $100,000 each and they are being held in the Bell County Jail.

The suspects are also linked to other cases and the investigation is ongoing.
