(KCEN) -- A vigil was held yesterday for a San Antonio boy who died in a tragic accident.
Playtime turned deadly this weekend for a seven-year-old boy in San Antonio who died after being buried in sand.
It happened Friday when seven-year-old Wyatt McDaniel and his younger brother were playing on their family horse farm.
That's when something went terribly wrong and the younger brother alerted the family that Wyatt was trapped in a pile of sand.
According to officials, Wyatt was not breathing and his father was giving him CPR when police arrived.
Emergency workers continued CPR efforts while he was airlifted to a local hospital.
The boy was later pronounced dead.
