(KCEN) -- Dallas doctors will try to remove a bullet that is lodged in a man's shoulder.
He was shot in a road rage incident early Sunday morning.
According to a police report, Eric Gonzalez was driving shortly after midnight Saturday when another driver pulled up next to him at a traffic light and screamed, "Stay in your lane."
When the light turned green, Gonzalez said he kept driving.
Then he heard a gunshot followed by pain in his right shoulder.
Medics found a bullet in his shoulder and he is listed in stable condition.
Police are still searching for leads in the shooting.
