Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- Just like airlines, now hotels are adding fees to their service.

Industry experts say over the next 12 months, hotels are expected to implement new charges to make up for lower than normal occupancy.

Some of the most common fees you will see in 2013 are a mini bar restocking fee and baggage holding fee.

Other hotels plan to start charging a fee if you check-out a day early or cancel your reservation.

And wi-fi will be sold on a tier bases.

The more bandwidth you want, the more you pay.

Last year, hotels made 1.9 billion dollars on various fees and they plan to make more this year.
