(KCEN) -- NFL Wide Receiver Jordan Shipley and his wife, singer, songwriter Sunny Shipley, made a visit to Temple's Ronald McDonald house yesterday.
The pair delivered Valentine's balloons and gifts to families staying at the Ronald McDonald home from across the world.
They also announced their plans for a Valentine's Day concert which will help provide funding for the non-profit.
The Shipleys volunteered at the Ronald McDonald house in Florida during Jordan's season with the Jacksonville Jaguars and decided to visit Temple's Ronald McDonald house because it's Jordan's home town.
Jordan said, "To hear the parents say, you know, thanks for making my kid happy. But they were making us happy. You always get more out of it then you give. It was a good experience for sure."
The Shipleys and Backstage Pass Music Center will hold the benefit concert February 14, at the Hog Creek Ice House in Waco.
