(KCEN) -- The city of Santa Maria, Brazil is holding remembrances all weekend for the victims of last week's nightclub fire.
At one Catholic mass a bell was rung each time the name of a victim was read out loud.
The fire killed 236 people most of whom died from smoke inhalation.
More than a hundred people remain in the hospital dozens of them in critical condition.
Investigators believe the blaze started when a band performing at the club lit a flare which ignited soundproofing foam on the ceiling.
