(KCEN) -- In honor of what would have been her 100th birthday, the United States Postal Service will honor Rosa Parks today.
Parks is getting her own stamp.
The stamp is the second in a series of three civil rights stamps being released this year that celebrates freedom, courage and equality.
In 1955, Parks refused to give up her seat on a municipal bus to a white man, defying the discriminatory laws of that time.
You can purchase the stamp at your local post office beginning today.
