(KCEN) -- A former president is back out on the town after a long stint in the hospital.
This weekend George H.W. Bush was seen out and about in Houston.
He and former first lady Barbara Bush attended a dinner at Gigi's Asian Bistro.
And according to those close to Bush, he feels great.
Former first lady Laura Bush gave an update on her father-in-law during a speech yesterday at the Women's Cancer Summit in Washington.
She said, "You'll be happy to hear that my father-in-law, President George H.W. Bush is home from the hospital, and doing very well."
The 88-year-old was released from the hospital in mid-January after undergoing 7 weeks of treatment for bronchitis.
