An accident on highway 190 near Nolanville city limits has shut down eastbound lanes.
Around 2 A.M. a woman in an SUV went through the guard rails of the highway.
Her car then went airborne over a river for 50 to 60 feet, rolled several times and landed in a ditch.
Police say she was going at least 120 miles per hour.
She was trapped in her totaled car and the bumper caught on fire.
Fire crews say the fire was put out in five minutes and she was taken to Scott and White Hospital with broken bones and multiple injures.
Rescue crews did try to airlift her to the hospital, but weather conditions prevented it.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
