(KCEN) -- In Denver, police say a mother shot her three children before taking her own life.
It happened yesterday morning.
Two of the children, a boy and a girl, died from their injuries.
A third child, a little girl, remains in critical condition.
When the husband came home in the morning, he walked into his home to find the gruesome scene.
The woman's brother, Tony Nunez, said, "She was wonderful to her kids, to my kids and I just want to let everybody know that she was not a bad person. Nor my brother-in-law. They were just like any other couple. They had their good days and bad days. But most of the time they were together."
Family members say the husband left after an argument the night before the shooting.
