A Coryell County man is in jail after allegedly shooting at sheriff's deputies Saturday night.
Authorities say 40 year old David Ray Sneed started shooting at deputies parked near his home on County Road 148 near Gatesville but couldn't pinpoint exactly where the shots came from because it was dark.
Deputies say Sneed became hostile after they attempted to serve him with an arrest warrant. He's accused of assaulting and pointing a gun at his 14 year old daughter.
Sneed was found near his home several hours later. He's charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault on a public servant.
