(KCEN) -- The family of slain Texas prosecutor Mark Hasse said their emotional goodbyes yesterday.
Hundreds came to pay respect to the former Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney who was gunned down on January 31st.
Friends and family spoke about happy times with Hasse and how he will be remembered.
"He was a good son, he was a good brother, he was a good uncle, he was a very good brother, he would drop anything to help a coworker or a friend and he was wicked smart," said Paul Hasse.
"This world is a better place because of Mark, and so are we," said Busch.
Hasse was shot several times in a parking lot about a block away from the courthouse.
No arrest has been made in the murder.
