(KCEN) -- In the northeast a huge snow storm has left people digging their way out of their homes and into their cars creating a dangerous situation.

At least two deaths in Boston are being blamed on running cars.

One person got into their car to warm up after shoveling snow but the car's tailpipe was clogged with snow and forced deadly carbon monoxide back into that vehicle.

Thousands of homes remain without power and heat tonight.

Snow plows have been working non-stop to clear roads for Monday morning commuters.
