(KCEN) -- The family of the late football coach, Joe Paterno, is lashing out at Penn State.
They accuse Penn State of a rush to judgement in the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case.
A new report by former Attorney General Dick Thornburgh was released on the family's website yesterday.
Thornburgh reviewed an FBI report on the case, which was commissioned by Penn State.
He said the report was, "factually wrong, speculative and fundamentally flawed."
He also said it was based on raw speculation and unsupported opinion.
The report had blamed Paterno, the university and other college personnel for covering up for Sandusky.
