Former Military Sniper Chris Kyle Remembered by Friends, Family at Funeral

(KCEN) -- Chris Kyle's funeral happened today at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington.

Kyle is known as a highly regarded sniper and even made appearances in "Stars Earn Stripes," on NBC.

He was America's deadliest military sniper, who, in four tours in Iraq made 160 confirmed kills.

Kyle was killed at a gun range 50 miles from Fort Worth by a former Marine with a semi-automatic gun.

Police are still searching for a motive.

At today's service, friends, colleagues and family remembered Kyle as more than a sniper.

The man charged with Kyle's death, Eddie Ray Routh, has been arraigned on two counts of murder.

Kyle's procession will travel from Dallas to Austin, where he'll be buried.

Area police will help out with the traffic on I-35.

The procession is expected to be in the Waco area between 9 and 10 tomorrow morning.
