(KCEN) -- More storms today put a hold on clean up efforts in Mississippi.
On Sunday several tornados caused widespread damage.
One of them stayed on the ground for some 75 miles.
The tornado was on the ground so long that officials say it actually gave people in its path plenty of time to find shelter.
Of the 80 people hurt in the storm, only two suffered life-threatening injuries.
Dozens of buildings were left mangled and hundreds of homes were destroyed.
Four thousand homes are still without power.
