(KCEN) -- If you're at a concert or game, but your friends are running late and you have the tickets, don't worry. You no longer have to leave you seat to go let them inside the arena.
Ticketmaster will now allow fans to transfer tickets to friends or family digitally and there's no extra charge.
The technology will be integrated into Ticketmaster's mobile app this spring, just in time for the summer concert season.
All you'll have to do is sign into your My Ticketmaster account or create one if you don't have one, then simply email the tickets to recipients.
A barcode on the original ticket will then be canceled and a new one will be issued.
