Police have released surveillance video of a dangerous inmate on the run who escaped in north Texas while being transported to Nevada.
In the video you can see Albert Morales running away right after he stabbed Miami-Dade police officer Jamie Pardinas in the neck.
Pardinas and his partner were transporting Morales by car to Nevada where he was serving time as a convicted sex offender.
On Monday night they made a pit stop in Grapevine and Morales used his broken glasses to stab Pardinas in the neck.
Pardinas is in the hospital but is expected to recover from his injuries.
Meanwhile, a 10,000 dollar reward is being offered for information leading to Morales' arrest.
