(KCEN) -- A bullet signed by the late Chris Kyle was auctioned off for $24,000 in Lubbock on Sunday, just eight days after his tragic death.

It was the same type of bullet used by Kyle in his 1.2 mile sniper kill of an enemy with a rocket-propelled grenade in Iraq.

The bullet was donated to the auction by a congressman before Kyle's tragic death at a Texas gun range.

All of the money will go directly to the Heartline Women's Clinic which provides free services for women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy.
