(KCEN) -- Waco police are asking for the public's help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit and run earlier this week.
The incident occurred on February 12 just before 5 p.m. on I-35. That's when a white 2008 Mercury four door was side-swiped by a dull blue older model tractor trailer truck.
A driver in the car, a 30-year-old female, was injured and was taken to Hillcrest for treatment.
The blue tractor trailer truck stopped for a brief time, then left at the Martin Luther King exit.
Anyone saw this accident or knows anything about the incident is asked to contact the Waco police detective at 254-750-3656 or at Crime Stoppers. Callers do not have to reveal their identity to Crime Stoppers.
