(KCEN) -- There's brand new app for the iPhone geared toward helping both cancer patients and survivors.
It uses nutrition to improve their health.
That app was created by a group of dieticians at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
It provides recipes and tips for people going through cancer treatment or those who are in recovery.
Users can search recipes based on their specific disease type or symptoms they are experiencing, like nausea or mouth sores.
A healthy diet doesn't only lower your risk for developing cancer, it can also help cancer patients improve their outcome.
