(KCEN) -- Russia continues their clean up today after a meteorite exploded over the country yesterday.

Windows were shattered and about 4,000 buildings were damaged.

More than a thousand people were injured mostly by broken glass.

Fifteen people are still in area hospitals and one person is reportedly in a coma.

The regional governor says damage from the explosion is estimated at around $33-million.
