Man Fired from Airline for Slapping Child

An Idaho man accused of slapping a crying boy on a Delta flight is now out of a job.

Joe Rickey Hundley is no longer an executive at ACG Aerospace and Defense after the February 8th incident.

According to the FBI affidavit, just before landing, Hundley uttered a racial slur while demanding the mother to quiet her child.

The boy's mother, Jessica Bennett, 33 of Minnesota, said as the plane began to descent into Atlanta, her son because to cry because of the altitude change.

Hundley, who was seated next to her, allegedly told her to "shut that ('N word') baby up.

The boy suffered a scratch below his right eye.

Hundley's employer suspended him Sunday, saying the allegations are contradictory to the company's value.
