Google May Be Opening Retail Stores in Major Cities

(KCEN) -- Google may be looking to open retail stores in several major cities.

That's according to a report from 9to5google.com.

The tech news website cites an unidentified source as confirming that Google is building stand-alone stores in hopes of opening them in time for the holidays this year.

The stores would allow consumers to test out some of Google's products, like the Google Glass, before buying them.

Google hasn't yet confirmed the rumor.
