Burger King's Twitter Hacked, Told of False Sell to McDonald's

(KCEN) -- Fast food chain Burger King isn't having things its way.

The company's Twitter account was hacked yesterday, leaving Whopper lovers to believe McDonald's bought Burger King.

The tweets read, "We just got sold to McDonald's! Look for McDonald's in a hood near you."

Burger King's Twitter profile was changed to a McDonald's logo too.

It's still not clear who hacked the account.

The suspect appears to be a fan of hacktivist group Anonymous, using Burger King's account to ask the group to follow it.
