(KCEN) -- One man is in jail and another in the hospital after an argument over a woman led to a stabbing in Waco this afternoon.
Around 12:20 p.m. officers received a call for a possible stabbing in the area of Clifton and East Waco.
A detective arrived and saw the victim getting into a vehicle and leaving, followed by a second vehicle that seemed to be chasing the victim.
Officers stopped the suspect's vehicle at Lenox and Turner and detained the suspect.
Police received a call from the victim several minutes later. The victim had called ETMC and was with the ambulance at 18th Street and Reuter.
Officers say the victim and suspect were arguing over a woman in the 900 block of Burgan when the suspect, 41-year-old Roy Ross, pulled out a knife and stabbed 34-year-old Omora Rashad Giles.
Giles suffered several stab wounds in the hands, arm, neck and head. He was taken to Hillcrest for treatment of non life-threatening wounds.
Ross was taken to the McLennan County Jail and was charged with aggravated assault.
