
UPDATE (KCEN) -- Texas A&M says about 700 people were evacuated from the buildings due to the bomb threat today. Officials are still investigating.
Parking lots 46,38,59,62 and 69 at the stadium are closed until further notice.

UPDATE (KCEN) -- The investigation into the bomb threat continues.
The university says the threat was found written on a wall of a non-academic facility on campus around 10:50 a.m.
An investigation into the threat was launched immediately.
Texas A&M also says federal agencies are helping with the investigation.

(KCEN) -- According to Texas A&M's Twitter account, a Code Maroon has been issued.
A bomb threat investigation is underway.
So far, Read, GRW, Zone, W Kyle, Bright Athletics and Netum Steed have been evacuated. Officials are trying to clear Kyle Field, which was the focus of the threat.
The school tweeted that Kyle Field and adjacent buildings will be closed for the rest of the day. All activities scheduled in areas and buildings that were not evacuated will continue as scheduled.
