A former marriage counselor from Bedford is now facing 10 years of probation for sexually abusing a male client.

47-year-old Sheila Loven also lost custody of her daughter.

Loven admitted to having a relationship with her client in 2009 but denied most of what the victim and several others testified to throughout her trial.

Prosecutors say Loven used her position as a marriage counselor to break up a couple and enter into a sexual relationship with the male client.

Although Loven is not required to do jail time, she will have to register as a convicted sex offender.
