(KCEN) -- Carnival Cruise Lines is now facing a class action lawsuit for its recent disabled ship fiasco.
The lawsuit says cruise lines are responsible for the safety of everyone on board and that includes making sure illness doesn't spread.
It alleges the that the cruise line's decision to keep passengers on board prolonged their exposure to disease, accidents and trauma.
Carnival has offered their passengers a full refund, a future cruise and $500 per person.
There's no word yet on how much the class action lawsuit is seeking.
