Morning Storm Blows Roof Off Mobile Home in Bruceville-Eddy - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- This morning's storm blew through central Texas in about half an hour.

It may have been short, but for one street in Bruceville-Eddy it caused some big problems.

Winds blew the roof of a mobile home completely off and other homes nearby lost shingles and panels.

Elvira Rivera was sleeping in the mobile home just an hour before the storm hit.

She went to visit family next door when it happened.

Rivera said, "I thought it was a tornado that hit because I got outside and looked at the house first thing. I started praying to god so nothing else bad happened."

No one was hurt in the storm.

Friends and family are helping clean up the mess.
