(KCEN) -- Guilty of negligent homicide.

Today a Baylor graduate was convicted in a deadly-hit-and run that killed 30-year-old Courtney Griffin in Austin.

Gabrielle Nestande was working as an aide to State Representative Wayne Christian's office when the crash happened in 2011.

She was later arrested by police, after driving away from the scene of the crash in downtown Austin.

Today Nestande was found guilty of negligent homicide but not guilty of failure to stop and render aid.

She faces two to 10 years in prison if convicted.
