Brazos County Man Executed For Murder of Girlfriend

(KCEN) -- A Bryan man was executed yesterday evening for killing his ex girlfriend nearly two decades ago.

Carl Henry Blue received the lethal injection just after six past night.

He was put on death row for killing his ex-girlfriend and severely injuring her friend in college station in 1994 when he set them on fire.

Blue becomes the thirteenth person from Brazos County executed for capital murder since Texas reinstated the death penalty in 1982.
