(KCEN) -- The demand is so high for guns these days, WalMart is having trouble keeping them in stock.
The retail giant says guns and ammunition have been flying off store shelves since President Obama's re-election.
Demand also soared after the Newtown school shootings, when many lawmakers began pushing for stricter gun laws.
Earlier this month, WalMart had to actually start rationing ammunition.
Customers can now only get three boxes of ammo a day at stores nationwide.
But there is no limit on how many guns a customer can buy.
