Delta Travel is now offering new deals that makes traveling to the Phillipines more attractive than ever.
Valencia, CA (PRWEB) February 23, 2013
Delta Travel in Valencia is now offering new deals that will enable members of this private travel club to visit the Philippines for a lot less money.
To become a member, one must attend a presentation and pay a one time membership fee. As a member, they will be able to book all travel at cost including all inclusives, car rentals, cruises and hotels.
According to Delta Travel Manager, Brad Guriec, "The Philippines are always top on the list for most people who want to travel and see the world. As a company, we're always trying to find new vendors that will offer great deals and save our members money."
Because everyone travels a little different, the details can vary too greatly, in that some may want a hotel, some may want a timeshare resort. The best deals are for those who travel within 60 days and take advantage of the Hot Weeks. Though even with hotels, members can receive a price of up to 40% less than they've seen on a website. Members can receive up to 30% off on their car rentals.
The best time to visit the Philippines is between December and May. The climate is cooler and drier, with no risk of typhoons. This is also the best time to experience the rich and colorful Filipino celebrations and fiestas.
The Philippines has a number of festivals and celebrations taking place throughout the year. Independence Day, 12 June, is celebrated with a military parade. The Black Nazarene Procession takes place every year on 9 January. Large processions, carrying life-size black images of Jesus pass through the streets of Manila. This procession takes place during Easter too. A few weeks later, (third week of January) you can take part in the three-day long Filipino Mardi Gras.
On Good Friday re-enactments of the crucifixion take place throughout the Philippines. These draw in huge crowds. In the week before All Saint’s Day (1 November), cemeteries across the country are whitewashed, and on All Saint’s day the city sees a lively party take place at the Chinese cemetery.
To book a trip to the Phillipines, Delta Travel members can call their local office and sit down with their favorite travel agent.
