Kansas City Woman Starts Fundraiser for Homeless Man

(KCEN) -- Talk about paying it forward.

Well wishers from around the world are sending donations to a homeless man in Kansas City.

It all started after a woman accidentally dropped her diamond engagement ring into Billy Ray Harris' donation cup.

When she realized it the next day she went back.

Harris told her he had been keeping the ring safe for her and gave it back.

She was so happy, she set up an online fundraising site to help him.

So far, after only a week, it's up to $88-thousand!
