(KCEN) -- Almost 100 people are rescued Saturday after a monorail at the Dallas Zoo malfunctions.
Firefighters were called to the zoo to help the large group escape.
It took about a half an hour and five extension ladders to remove the 93 trapped passengers.
It's an experience zoo visitors say they'll never forget.
"It was my wife's first time on it. I've been on it once before but this is definitely a first," one passenger said.
Thankfully no one was injured.
Zoo officials say the monorail will remain closed today while they figure out what caused it to malfunction.
