(KCEN) -- Nearly 30 Nascar fans were injured by flying debris at the Daytona 500 on Saturday.
And now two people who were in critical condition are stabilizing at a Florida hospital.
That debris was sent into the crowd when several cars collided, sending parts over the protective wall.
Pieces of the engine and a 70 pound tire sailed into the seats.
Seven people remain in the hospital. That's out of the 14 that were initially hospitalized with injuries.
