(KCEN) -- A southeast Texas school district is reconsidering its ban on religious banners.
Kountze ISD is holding a public meeting this evening.
It's all about a court-ordered halt to its original ban on high school cheerleaders displaying religious messages at sporting events.
School administrators could act on that ban during tonight's special meeting.
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has joined a lawsuit filed by cheerleaders against Kountze ISD, which is about 20 miles north of Beaumont.
