Tumbleweeds Nearly Cover Man's House in Midland

(KCEN) -- Folks in Midland were a bit surprised by what the wind blew in on Monday.

Tumble weeds nearly covered one man's home.

They piled up along the house, on top and even crammed in the backyard.

Homeowner Josh Pitman was shocked when he first saw it.

He said, "A text message with the picture of the entire left side of our house here and it's just completely covered with tumbleweeds, most ridiculous thing I've ever seen."

Pitman says he recently tore down a fence in his front yard that probably would have protected his home from the tumbleweed attack.

He expects to spend the rest of the week cleaning up the mess.
