(KCEN) -- A mobile home on Tiffany Circle in Killeen was completely destroyed by a fire this morning.
Luckily, the one woman inside the home at the time was able to escape with her dog. She does believe she lost her three cats though.
Firefighters received the call of the fire at 10:14 a.m. and responded to the location. Smoke from the fire could be seen from the Stan Schlueter area.
At first, firefighters trying to quench the flames from inside the home. Soon the roof started to collapse, which forced the firefighters to evacuate and battle the blaze from outside the home.
Several other emergencies were happening around the same time in Killeen this morning so emergency personnel, including ambulances, were tied up.
Thirty people were able to respond to help with the fire at the home, but it could not be saved.
The fire did spread to nearby grass, but was never in danger of becoming out of control beyond the house and was not threatening any nearby homes.
No injuries were reported.
