(KCEN) -- A popular Navy air show team could also lose funding because of the sequestration cuts.
The Blue Angels perform along the Texas coast every year in Kingsville and Corpus Christi.
Chief of Naval Air Training Mark Leavitt says it's still too early to know exactly what will happen.
But they are concerned about how budget cuts could impact their high-flying show.
Leavitt said, "One of the things that they are considering is the third and fourth quarter Blue Angel air shows being suspended so we can take that money and re-program it into readiness."
The Blue Angels are known for attempting difficult aerial maneuvers in military jets.
Their program has existed since the 1940s.
