Belton,
TX – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's golfer Justin Judkins has
been named American Southwest Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for
the
week ending February 27th.
Judkins, a junior from San Antonio Johnson High School, won the
individual title at the weather shortened Schreiner Spring Shootout.
Judkins fired a two-under par 70 to edge two players, including teammate
Spencer Turner,
by one shot for the championship. Judkins' play also helped lead the
UMHB men to a 291 team total and an eight-stroke victory in the
tournament.
The Cru men will return to action with a trip to the Mississippi College Spring Invitational next Monday and Tuesday. That tournament will be played at
Black Bear Golf Club in Delhi, Louisiana.
