(KCEN) -- A Colombian factory is now creating armored clothing for children.
For more than 20 years, the company has been making bulletproof vests for adults.
But since the deadly attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School it's received several requests for protective clothes for children.
Products include child-sized armored vests, undershirts and backpacks that have ballistic protection.
The factory's owner said the gear has been ordered by an American distributor, but he wouldn't identify it.
