Shooting at Waco Bar Sends Local Woman to Hospital

(KCEN) -- A shooting at a bar in Waco sends a woman to the hospital.

Police say a 19-year-old woman and her boyfriend got into an argument with a group of girls at Big Daddy's Bar in East Waco.

The 19-year-old woman was shot in the face during the altercation.

Her boyfriend drove her to Hillcrest Hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Patrick Swanton of Waco PD said, "At some point a gun was brought into the disturbance and our victim was shot in the face."

No arrests have been made and the case is under investigation.
