(KCEN) -- There is new information on the death of the adopted Russian boy living in
West Texas.

A Texas District Attorney says the death of Max Shatto was an accident.

The autopsy reveled little Max died when an artery in his small bowel was cut by blunt force trauma.

They say the child bled to death internally.  

Although the child's death was ruled accidental, the investigation is still ongoing.

Max was adopted from Russia and died in January, since then all eyes have been on local authorities for answers.
