(KCEN) -- A young couple rushing to the hospital to deliver their first child was killed in an early morning crash but their baby survived.
The 21-year-old couple was driving to the hospital when another vehicle t-boned them in a Brooklyn neighborhood early Sunday morning.
Police say their baby boy was delivered prematurely at a hospital after the accident.
Nathan and Raizy Glauber were pronounced dead at two New York hospitals.
"It's terrible, it's terrible not even married a year and going in for the happiest time to have a baby and that's what happens, terrible," said an onlooker.
Police say both the driver of the vehicle that hit the couple's car and a passenger fled and are being sought.
