(KCEN) -- We have an update on the death of the adopted Russian boy living in West Texas.
Over the weekend thousands of people rallied in Central Moscow protesting three-year-old Max Shatto's death and autopsy results.
Max died at his home in Odessa last January.
His adopted mother told authorities she found him unresponsive outside their home where he had been playing with his younger brother.
After reviewing Max's autopsy results authorities ruled his death accidental.
Russian officials are pointing to the case to defend the country's ban on adoptions by American families.
