Texas Law Enforcers Searching for People With Active Warrants

(KCEN) -- If you have a warrant in Texas, you may be taken to jail.

Law enforcement agencies across Texas will be looking for people who have active warrants beginning this weekend.

The warrant roundup will target thousands of Texans who have outstanding traffic, parking, city ordinance, penal code and higher-charge warrants.

Notices to those affected were mailed out statewide.

Law enforcement says violators who don't pay up could face immediate arrest at home or work.
