Four Hour Standoff Ends With Suspect Death in San Antonio

(KCEN) -- A four-hour standoff ended in death for a San Antonio suspect.

It all started with the assault of a woman believed to be the girlfriend of a man named Jimmy Garza Jr.

After keeping officers at bay for more than four hours, a SWAT team opened fire when Garza rushed them armed with a rifle.

He was immediately shot and killed.

Garza's girlfriend was taken to a local hospital.
