(KCEN) -- Yellowstone National Park is also feeling the effects of budget cuts.
The park has delayed its opening.
Yellowstone is reducing its operating hours and pushing back its opening and it could cost them up to 1.7 million dollars.
Businesses and communities around Yellowstone will also feel the pinch.
Other tourist sites like the National Mall and the Statue of Liberty will also have to deal with less operating money.
Nearly 279 million people visit national parks each year.
